Parents
You are an important part of your child’s learning process and we encourage you to become as involved as possible. However, our instructors have found that the quality of instruction is affected by parent and or sibling distractions. You are always welcome to discuss your child’s progress with his/her instructor, we hope that your child will attend class independently. With your child’s best interest in mind, you are invited to attend the last class of the session. Thank you for your cooperation.
Do It Today - Don't Delay!
If you wait until the last minute to register, the program or class you may want to take may not be there. At some point, we have to determine if enrollment is sufficient to hold the class and may have to be cancelled due to low enrollment. Park Permits
All parks are open to everyone’s use during regular park hours (dawn to dusk.) The Park District will be issuing permits to resident groups of Chicago Heights who wish to reserve parkland areas. Requests for 2012 park rentals will be accepted starting January 9, 2012.

Party Rooms
In addition to the two golf courses (listed elsewhere in this booklet), the Park District also offers our Social Room at the Recreation Center for private events. Hold your next shower, birthday party or graduation at the Social Room. Only $30.00 an hour plus $100 security deposit. Your security deposit will be returned 2-4 weeks after your event, damages deducted. Call the Chicago Heights Rec Center at (708) 755-1351 for details and to reserve your date. The East Golf Course Banquet Room seats 70 and the West Golf Course Banquet room seats 120. Call 754-1400 for golf course banquets and room rental prices. Dish rental, set-up, and food available for an additional cost.
