New Wave Strength Swim Class
This is a wonderful way work out in the water with sprint bells, noodles and resistance tubing with burst of cardio & power moves. Get a new you with a new wave in your aquatic workout. Instructor Mike.

Toddlers
It is never too early to begin learning about movement. Tot-nastics is designed to help the child, as well as the parents, develop and discover their physical capabilities and aptitudes. Tots and parents will be led through beginning gymnastics, tumbling and motor skill tasks. One parent must participate in class.

Pre-Schoolers
Enjoy beginner gymnastics, tumbling, low balance beam, bars, vault skills and motor development tasks while having fun! Balance, coordination and body awareness, as well as developing the ability to listen and follow directions will be fostered. Instructor will lead our pre-schoolers in small groups through fun movements and physical exercises.

Teen Reach
We are proud to announce a wonderful FREE SERVICE for the youth of Chicago Heights and Ford Heights. The Chicago Heights Park District is the lead organization in this collaborative partnership with the Bloom Township Youth and Family Services, the Southland Health Care Forum as the coordinating agency, Proactive Community Services, Southland Hispanic Leadership Council and School District 170. Jointly, these organizations will work together to provide an out of school program that increases opportunities for youth ages 11-17 to participate in structured development, learning activities and recreational programs designed to empower them to reach their individual goals and highest potential. Dance Program – Ballet Session II
Ballet is the basis for all dance and a great introduction to dance. All classes will start with basic technique and stretching (older students will do work at the barre) and continue with center and across the floor combinations. Dress Code: Girls: Black leotard, pink ballet tights, pink ballet shoes, dance skirts are OK but no tutus. Hair should be worn off the face, preferably in a bun. No jewelry. Learn How To Bowl Session I
Sign your child up today to learn how to bowl and meet new friends! Learn how to bowl during our 8 week classes. Lanes available with or without bumpers. League bowlers can practice 2 hours on Wednesdays from 3:00-5:00pm. Bowlers will receive 2 free games per week if they give us an email to send them to. Adult & Youth Swim Lessons
Adults learn the basic steps to meet aquatic needs. Develop security in the water while learning the basic skills. Skills will include the breast stroke, backstroke and other techniques. Class is held at the St. James Health & Wellness Center.
Children can develop basic water skills to meet developmental needs. They will learn basic swim strokes and develop security in the water. All ability levels welcome. Registration taken at the Chicago Heights Recreation Center.
