This is an energetic class that teaches young students introductory vocabulary and techniques of Jazz dance as well as shapes, colors and patterns. Students will move in a variety of ways, such as leaps, kicks, jumps and turns and will gain strength, flexibility & coordination through daily warm-up and exercises. Musicality and performance skills are taught as part of the class. Students enrolled in Jazz are strongly encouraged to also take Ballet. Dress Code: Girls: Black leotard, black jazz pants, black jazz shoes. Boys: Black dance pants, t-shirt, black jazz shoes. Instructor: Miss Kelly (Min: 8 Max: 15)
